“It’s Gonna Be Okay” is a great song written by two members of the group, The Piano Guys, Al van der Beek & Steven Sharp Nelson. The song is sung by Piano Guy Member Al van der Beek and English singer Sir Cliff Richard. Writers of the song say that this song is meant to share some Hope in a world that doesn't have much left. The Piano Guys said, “...We believe that someday, somehow, all things will be made right. And as the Proverb says, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
Now let's take a look into the lyrics of the song and relate it to the Gospel Topics of Hope and Enduring to the End.
Doubt is a broken record that's
Play inside my head
I try it to turn it down
But I can't quite drown it out
I'm tortured every day
These never-ending worries
Pulling on my sleeves
And there is a battle raging in your heart
But you must win
It comes for all of us, saying we are not enough
So fight for your life, the world gonna try to sell you some lies
These two verses talk about the difficulties we have experienced and are bound to have in this life. We learn in. 2 Nephi 2:11, "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things." It is an essential part of our Heavenly Fathers' plan that we face difficulties to gain experience, grow, build our testimonies, and become more like his son, Jesus Christ. Along with our difficulties, we will also have the Father of all lies telling us that we are not good enough, that we can't make it, and tries to tear us down constantly.

So many times now
I was supposed to tap out
All the walls would fall around me
All anybody would tell me
Is all that bad news how it's gonna fall through
But no matter what they say and what they say
It's gonna be, gonna be okay-ay-ay-ay-ay-ayIt's gonna be, gonna be okay-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay
No matter what you've been through here you are
No matter if you think you're falling apart
It's gonna be okay
The pre-chorus and chorus are the hope of the song. We know that darkness has a light, and bad has a good. There will always be light at the end of the tunnel, and we know how this will work out in the end. God, good, and light will always win. We know that through our journey here on this earth and especially through our hardships, our Heavenly Father is there will us the whole way. As it says in D&C 100:12, “Therefore, continue your journey and let your hearts rejoice; for behold, and lo, I am with you even unto the end.” We can find hope and joy, and we will not be alone as we endure to the end. “As we temporarily endure the challenges we can solve, and as we continue to endure the challenges we cannot solve, it is important to remember that the spiritual strength we develop will help us successfully endure all the challenges we face in life.” -Elder Richard J. Maynes (The Strength to Endure, October 2013)

I have gone through many hard times in my life, as I'm sure you have as well. Recently, I lost many friends due to different standards, values, and beliefs. I also left a job that I was passionate about at the same time. This was very hard for me. I felt like I was losing everything I loved, and I believed the lies that I wasn't good enough, wasn't worth it, and was better that I was alone. This drove me into a dark place. I was in that dark place for a while, and even to this day, I find myself wandering back to that dark place because of the lies I'm told by Satan. Those lies are never true. Those difficult times dont define us, but they refine us. Because of my experiences and afflictions, I have been able to see more hope in my life as I move forward each day, and I have a greater purpose and understanding of enduring to the end because I'm not alone and everything will be okay, and this song is a great reminder of that. My Brother, Savior, and best friend, Jesus Christ, is always right beside me.
I hope that through this post, you were able to see God’s hand in even the smallest and simple everyday things. Heavenly Father loves you, and is talking to you, in more ways than you know!
Have a safe and blessed Week!
